Pros

Working with competent legal assistants and office manager. They are understanding and helpful.

Cons

Management is terrible. Florida managing partner micro manages. All partners of the firm speak negative of each other. They do not respect their staff and is quick to put blame on their staff when the slightest issues occur. They don’t even treat their contract attorneys well. They avoid paying unless the staff are bombarded with phone calls and emails from their contract attorneys. Honestly the worst place to work unless you’re desperate for a position.

A lot can change in 4 years, including management and firm ownership. The Florida partner was bought out, and the entire management team was replaced. We pride ourselves on our core values, and try to use them in everything we do: Honesty, Collaborative, Committed to Growth, Changing Courtroom Culture, and Accessible Advocacy.

Potential For Greatness

Pros

This company has so much potential to grow, and grow FAST! Traffic law is where it's at, and with so many bad/aggressive drivers in the Bay Area, this is a great area of law to be in. One of the company partners really throws you into your position with little training, and he expects you to sink or swim in a short amount of time. This is a great environment for go-getters who hate micromanagement.

Cons

One of the offsite partners ruins the vibe of the office by trying to micro-manage, as he's based in Miami and therefore has no clue of what's happening in the SF office. He complains too much about missed calls, and other small things that can be overlooked. Employee turnover is high: most people are gone within months, sometimes weeks. Management doesn't seem to understand that high turnover isn't always the employees, but their inability to train them and offer basic expectations before hiring them.
