Pros

-full Apple suite of technology -start up office environment -access to resources and software -smart and innovative employees/coworkers (this is the best part!) -great stepping stone for career changes -fast-paced work environment -opportunity to travel

Cons

-high turnover -overwork employees (claim that they will help you by teaching strategies to help perform your best at home and work. when it comes down to what matters, they expect work to always take priority over personal life) -inexperienced management makes it more challenging to move projects forward -company does not practice what they preach and sell to clients -focus more on developing employees' weaknesses rather than building upon their strengths (good for becoming a generalist in a small company, but it's bad for honing in your skillset. This makes it challenging to leave the company because employees are usually trained at the surface level without opportunity to dive deeper into projects.) -start up culture despite being around for 15 years means long hours with less competitive pay -short fuses are a common trait at c-suite level -lack of HR resulted in benefits changing and unresolved HR reports The biggest con is that the environment is cult-like. The idea is that coworkers are your family and that you should always please executive level, regardless of your boundaries ethically, physically, and emotionally. Boundaries do not exist here. Executive/c-suite level frequently reminds employees that they are so generous to provide benefits, but the benefits are not competitive with employers of similar size and net worth. Executive/c-suite level and upper management are manipulative towards their employees. (example: crying at work was perceived as deeply caring about your job; lack of crying in difficult meetings was perceived as not taking the meeting seriously) I do hope this environment changes because they have some of the most intelligent and innovative employees. I quit and have since realized how bad the work culture is here. I am writing this honest review to help people looking to work here.

We are grateful for this feedback, even if it hurts. Feedback is deeply woven into our culture, and every piece of feedback helps us learn and grow. We appreciate that every person’s perception is their reality, but we would love to respectively share our view as well. TIGNUM is a small company that is making a huge impact by helping our clients rule their impact. What we do is very nuanced and therefore requires not just talent but a highly collaborative, adaptive, and growth mindset approach. We have built a performance culture that we understand is not for everyone. We have worked hard over the years to instill our values of Impact, Innovation, Fun, and Freedom in our culture. But as you can imagine, a culture built on these four pillars requires a high level of self-discipline, self-motivation, and active participation. We invest a lot in our employees, which is often invisible (healthcare, gym memberships, personal development, fun global team meetings, flexible work hours, great workspaces, etc.). With this comes a responsibility for those who join our team to deliver results, to be collaborative, to challenge their own status quo, and to constantly learn and grow. We genuinely thank the person who left this feedback, and above all, we wish them the best in their future endeavors. We will take every one of these comments to heart and apply them to our personal leadership, and company culture, journeys to grow.

Not a good environment at all

Pros

- Competitive salary - Good benefits, such as breakfast and snacks in the office and gym membership - Founders seem to be nice people who care about their company

Cons

This review concerns my experience in the Berlin office, I believe the situation is different in other offices. Terrible environment. You either are a "yes man", or you'll end up being bullied and ostracised by management. Poor respect and lots of politics (management talking behind employees backs and escalating conflicts to shouting terms are not uncommon). Far from gender-equal mentality. Very high turn over (5 out of 12 employees left the company in the past year). While some of the employees are competent and nice, many of them seem to lack basic experience for their role. Nepotism seems to be present. Everything is micro-managed, and what was decided yesterday often doesn't hold today (but the change is not communicated).
