Small yet innovate and cutting edge construction company with great potential

Pros

Smaller company which allows one to actually be recognized, you're a name and not a number, you actually get to see and speak with the CEO regularly, significantly more flexibility and overall breadth in terms of job responsibility. Great company culture.

Cons

Smaller company has limited bonding capacity and thus limited exposure to larger commercial projects (no union alliance), mostly simple stick frame construction, which ultimately translates into limited resources and pay. Before the economy crashed Tocci was hands down an industry leader in VDC, with Autodesk in their pocket, this however has since diminished and has been on a steadily decline ever since. Also why Woburn?

Pros

Leadership has good ideas - unfortunately they can't execute them. Some of the junior staff are really excited about the ideas that are discussed but the leadership gets distracted easily by the next shiny object (big project). Also, a lot of litigation around projects and no repeat clients is a bad sign.

Cons

There is a lot of turnover, bad management, company run by one person not a team of leaders making decisions Strange work environment. Staff is hired and fired without warning. New employees start and their desks aren't event set up. Then the next day someone is fired and there isn't any notification.
