Management for some reason stopped caring about their employees or had their back like they used to… management would strictly enforce policies then be vague and confusing when they would break policies themselves. work environment became so toxic and stressful when it used to be a pretty decent place
(Also for clarification I don’t mean ALL management. When the few good ones would speak up and try to make changes for the good of everyone they were met with resentment from higher ups to the point of trying to push them out of the company)
As a result of poor management most employees ended up burnt out and jaded and customer service greatly suffered and with that tips that usually make up the greater half of your paycheck would be significantly smaller
