Worst Place I've Ever Worked

Pros

The group of creatives and colleagues were great people with which to work (with the exception of the account managers/executives).

Cons

They don't pay you what you're worth and it's a revolving door of people coming and going because of the toxic work environment. Dooley Tombras was one of the worst people I had ever worked for; he talks over people, is boastful and arrogant; and downright rude to everyone (except his bros). Expect that he'll berate you in front of a conference room full of people if he doesn't hear what he wants to hear from you. They regularly lie to clients about their abilities and the staffing of the company just to get the business. They also manipulate data to make things look they way the want them to. You'll have to sign an insanely restrictive non-compete contract that basically ensures that you won't be able to work for another agency for at least two years. The account executives breed the same toxic culture that the CEO does -- and as long as they brown-nose the CEO, it all gets a pass. I would never recommend this employer to anyone.

Be weary if they offer a huge salary to join their team...

Pros

There is a lot of busy work and great pay, especially if you're from out of town. It's a great place to fill your portfolio with local mediocre work.

Cons

The leadership at Tombras have mastered the true art of manipulation. Everything is smoke and mirrors in the recruitment process. Once they have tricked you into joining their team you'll quickly find how unfriendly and unprofessional they are. Most of the work they do there is small time. There is no HR department, so if you have a problem you talk to the heads of the company. There is no exit interview as you leave the place. Nor does leadership care how your experience was or is going there. They don't even care to improve or change their ways. It's pure chaos everyday. Women are also not treated as equals in this environment. In fact some men are allowed to run around in drunk stupors and call women degrading names, such as c u next Tuesday. And these men never get reprimanded for their behavior. It's sickening. But hey, no HR means everything is fair game if you catch my drift. That being said they are known to hire in big shots from out of town who try to sleep with women and use flirtation to get them to join their team. Tombras does not care either as long as that big shot is lining their pockets with press, new clients and talented creatives. If you're offered a large salary to come join the team, be weary of it. It may seem like a great deal, but you'll immediately grow to regret it. RUN! This is not a real advertising agency, there are by far better opportunities out in the REAL world.
