- Management have no business experience and no real clue how to run a business so expect changed on a whim, from undoing all the work you've been doing for months to getting fired on the spot with no prior warning and no feedback
- No culture whatsoever. Management feel really uncomfortable with their employees getting on well with each other, especially 'younger' team members. Punishments for getting on with your colleagues include having entire team meetings to bollock you for taking your allocated lunch break, tense outbreaks from the MD, or simply being fired.
- If you're not married with kids, you get treated less favourably than those who are. Those with children get flexible hours to pick kids up etc. Those without are chastised for leaving on time.
- No room for growth whatsoever, unless of course, you're a close friend of existing management
- No sick days and you're expected to work back time for doctors appointments, hospital appointments etc
- Working hours are 9-5.30 with an hour for lunch but you're expected to be in early, not take your full lunch break and not leave on time
- Expect to live in fear of any impromptu meetings, will you get berated in front of the entire staff for taking your full lunch break? Will you witness a dramatic display on how you're not working like the staff at Google, even though Google actually pay well and treat their staff well? Will you be fired on the spot?
- Did I mention the random firings? Because this is the major one. Expect many random firings during your time. Expect constant panic attacks that you're next
