Pros

Easy hire, but once I was there, I realized why. The residents are sweet.

Cons

Bad management and a high turnover rate, I was there less than a week and the person before me didn't last long eighter. The CNAs look down on everyone else. The culture is toxic and they tear you down instead of mentoring you. They need the staff but do everything to run them away. Not worth the pay.

Pros

My co-workers (selectivly) were the only thing good about The Enclave.

Cons

The management team has the worst communication skills, pay sucks, staffing sucks. They say they want to hear what they can do better, that they want good patient treatment/care and then punish you when you bring things to their attention. It’s all a show; when you hold them accountable you are made to be an enemy. The employees that are horrific at their jobs that say nothing are left unscathed, if you speak up about what needs to change, what is being lied about by other nurses, and what actually needs to be changed you they will retaliate. They will tell you explicitly they know things need to change but they can’t make changes too quickly because then staff will “run for the hills”.

Pros

Amazing residents and some great co-workers

Cons

Poor training, management changes often and expectations with them. The work load is too much and there is no work/life balance. Managers with a nursing license are expected to be on call throughout the week, work the floor more than your actual job and be on call on weekends, but the schedule is inconsistent and you basically are doing the scheduler's job while still getting called out in meetings for your job duties. Medical records is actually records, transportation scheduling/managing, working the floor, ordering supplies, running reports for nursing and chasing down nurses who missed meds/treatments each shift, correcting everything nursing doesn't care to manage.
