Pros

They have a "work where you like" policy, so you can use their beautiful office on the Harbourfront or work from home whenever you'd like (with a few exceptions for quarterly or monthly team meetings). The benefits are definitely above average with everyone at the company getting the same coverage. The starting vacation time is 3 weeks (6% vacation pay), which is pretty good for my entry level position. There are a lot of industry events that you'll get invited too. It's a great way to enjoy Toronto venues and entertainment for free. It's a huge perk!

Cons

Networking is more of a challenge when so few people come into the office. There is a lot of room for lateral movement, but very little room for upward mobility. This job is an excellent stepping stone though!

Pros

I worked in many organizations since, and Destination Toronto (formerly Tourism Toronto) has been one of the best. Not sure if it's changed since, but at the time I received great perks, got to attend fun events, and the people were some of the nicest and most supportive.

Cons

Projects moved at a slower pace. Didn't see much room for upward growth in my position at the time.
