In my experience, I would disagree with Mr. Tranel - most employees were not satisfied with working at The Tranel Financial Group.
I would advise anyone considering working for The Tranel Financial Group to complete an extra amount of due dilligence before accepting an offer. Try to reach out to former employees and find out the truth. You can save yourself a lot of stress and heartache because you're only going to get a sales-pitch from senior management. There are a few highly-compensated employees that have been with the firm for an extended period of time, but for the most part there is high turn-over that is never discussed.
I had reservations about joining, and I wish I had listened to that little voice that said, "this guy is nuts" I lasted a year there, and I look a it as a wasted year of my life.
Cons:
* Low compensation
* Unrealistc expectations on work/life balance
* Low employee morale
* Highly political envornment
* Rampant nepotism
