Pros

There are some good people working here. They are always busy. They let LPNs run the Medical Department! They give a 15$ Publix card on Thanksgiving! Small Christmas Bonus as well.

Cons

The insurance sucks. They will fire you right after they give you a raise and not give a valid reason. Thank god for unemployment. Although they will try to fight it. They give special treatment to clients who have the best insurance. Lots of lies being told to clients to get them in the door.

Our Medical Department is directed by a double Board Certified Psychiatrist and managed by an RN with over 7 years' experience in the treatment filed. The department also consists of very talented and caring ARNP's, a Certified Psychiatric ARNP, RN's and also LPN's. Our admissions staff is trained by our Board Certified Psychiatrist on proper screening to ensure that clients brought in are in the appropriate level of care; all of our calls are recorded and reviewed for quality assurance. Our HR department has over 30 years of experience collectively; we stress an open door policy and maintain a zero tolerance policy for harassment and/or retaliation. We are a family first company and are proud to have had over 20 babies born to Moms and Dads working at Transformations over the last 4 years; additionally we have promoted women during pregnancy including the Director of Human Resources and the Clinical Director. We created and implemented a paid leave policy for all new Moms and support all returning Mother's with flexibility in order to continue breastfeeding their babies after leave is over. We receive constant praise from our employees regarding the understanding of family needs and are constantly looking to offer more family support in new and innovative ways.

Pros

Co-workers are awesome and passionate. The clients only hope at ever getting sober are spending time with the techs, as the therapists are clueless about addiction and recovery in general.

Cons

Unbearably corrupt and fraudulent business and mental health practices that harm the client and community.

We take great pride in hiring only the highest qualified Therapists at Transformations; although, the State of Florida does not have any regulations on treatment industry therapists, we as a facility do. Every therapist we employ holds a Master's Degree in either Mental Health, Social Work, Psychology or a related field. Every therapist employed is required to become a Register Intern in either Mental Health, Social Work or Marriage and Family counseling and must be working towards their License. Most of our therapists are already Licensed Professionals and the majority also hold a CAP (certified addiction professional) or an MCAP (masters level certified addiction professional). In addition several of our therapists are in recovery themselves and understand first-hand the journey to successful recovery. We have an outstanding reputation for our ethically sound facility. We have an incredibly passionate and dedicated staff of individuals that follow documented policies and procedures; as a Joint Commission and CARF accredited facility all of our practices are scrutinized in order to maintain these accreditation's which are reviewed every 2 and 3 years respectively. Every employee has the ability to report any concerns or complaints they may have directly to the accreditation commissions. Client safety and welfare is our number one concern, any client that requires higher level mental health care is transferred to an appropriate facility as our current expertise is in substance abuse.
