Lack of Research and Data-Driven Decisions: There is no strategic planning in place. Projects seem to be chosen randomly without a clear vision or direction. It's unclear what the company's focus is — whether they are selling hotels, travel packages, or tickets. They appear to chase whatever is profitable in the short term, with no long-term vision. Furthermore, there is no use of research or data in decision-making. Projects are executed based on random internal decisions without any proper research or analysis.
Poor Equipment: The equipment provided is far below standard. The laptop I received was the worst work device I’ve ever used.
Lack of Support and Onboarding: There is no proper onboarding or support system in place. At times, I found myself questioning what I was doing there, as no one seemed to care about your progress or well-being. Management is more focused on execution and micromanagement, completely neglecting people management and support.
No Autonomy or Trust in Employees: Regardless of your role, you're not given any decision-making power. Management dictates everything, and your only task is to follow their orders. Critical thinking or independent decision-making is neither encouraged nor allowed.
Unfortunate Office Location: For a company with such revenue, the office location is surprisingly inconvenient, situated in a remote area outside of Berlin. It’s difficult to even describe where it is. Additionally, employees are required to come to the office three days a week, but this rule isn’t consistently enforced. Some employees work remotely, while others are forced to comply with the in-office mandate.
Lack of Clear Role Definition: Managers fail to provide clarity on your responsibilities, and any initiative or creativity is often met with resistance. There’s no clear direction or support in defining your role, making it challenging to contribute meaningfully.
