I had the unfortunate experience of working at this company for far too long, and I can honestly say that it was one of the most toxic environments I've ever experienced. From the moment I started, it was clear that work-life balance was non-existent. Expectations were unreasonable: no matter how hard you worked, it was never enough and not appreciated at all, and personal time was something that was frowned upon.
The colleagues and upper management were equally toxic. Instead of fostering a collaborative and supportive environment, the workplace was filled with constant negativity, backstabbing, and gossip. People were more concerned with protecting their own interests and happily throwing you under the bus to make themselves look good. Any sense of community was non-existent.
The leadership is a major issue, especially the general manager. They have a closed-off mindset and treat employees as if they are beneath them. (For example. admin/management have nice meals at the on-site restaurant but staff only get sad outsourced bentos) Feedback is not welcomed, and concerns are ignored. If you’re not part of the old guard, you're treated as irrelevant and with the wrong mindset, and your opinions or contributions don’t matter and you will be classified as uncooperative. They openly show no care at all about the abnormally high turnover rate, take that as you will.
I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone who values their well-being or professional growth. The toxic culture and lack of respect for employees make it an unbearable place to work. If you value your mental health, professional growth, or basic respect, stay far away from this company. It was an exhausting and demoralizing experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone.
