Pros

Trella offers a truly startup-driven environment — if you're hungry to learn and take ownership, this is the right place. I had the opportunity to work cross-functionally with product, ops, and leadership, which accelerated my exposure to different business areas. The company is data- and execution-driven, which keeps things focused on outcomes. Great teammates — collaborative, smart, and mission-aligned. Flexibility to experiment and lead projects end-to-end, especially if you take initiative.

Cons

Like many startups, resources and structure can be limited, and that means long hours and context-switching. Processes can feel reactive at times, especially during scaling phases. Career development is largely self-driven — strong mentorship depends on the team you're placed in.

Great opportunity but unstable

Pros

Working with modern technologies, as a backend engineer I was using AWS, new relic, pager duty and other technologies

Cons

Unstable as I got laid off and it's not the first time for Trella to do a downsizing, as I have heard 25% of the startup got laid off
