I don't recommend working at Trilateral Research:
1. There is a severe lack of opportunities for progression internally as management prefers hiring externally. Staff are expected to take on responsibilities of a senior role for months and years to even be considered for promotion.
2. There is a severe lack of transparency and clear communication from (senior) management. CEO is incredibly removed from its employees, particularly from staff in the research department. Impossible to reach CEO regarding any concerns or suggestions, communication always goes through senior management, making it very hierarchical.
3. For a company that puts innovation at the heart of its business model senior management lack creativity, skills, and willingness to steer away from 'business as usual' and what worked in the past - to the detriment of staff.
4. Lack of appreciation and acknowledgement of the value that the research department is bringing to the company. Instead, there is a clear prioritisation of the tech department.
5. Concerningly hostile behavior from HR towards staff if something that is not in the interest of HR is being raised. Lack of genuine support of staff, creating an environment of distrust.
6. No opportunity for further actual development within the career, such as adequate learning opportunities (paid courses and certificates). Instead, staff is expected to 'learn as you go' and teach each other on areas nobody has proper experience in.
7. Benefits offered are the bare minimum required by law and rarely go beyond that.
