Pros

The therapy itself is nice.

Cons

I have been debating on writing this review because I truly did love the therapy and helping out my community, but the company itself can be really backwards, at least with the franchise owners I was working with. They want to capitalize on heart-centered people and dispose of them if/when they burn out. A lot of people are wise enough to leave early, hence the high turnover. Unfortunately, I wasn't one of the lucky ones. I gave up my life for these owners to enjoy the fruits of me and my team's labor then toss me like trash when I needed their support after helping them open 2 locations. The owner I worked for literally had the argument "It's not illegal to not give breaks in North Carolina". Wow. It should be, especially when you're working like a dog for 7-9 hours a day. The whole message of this company is about rest, but they couldn't care less about rest for employees. Guess you have to pay for that. For someone who cares about legality, she was doing some illegal things like listening in on employees' conversations through cameras and threatening to wipe out the whole team if god forbid someone was ranting about the unfair treatment. It's crazy, absolutely insane. That is in fact a federal crime and she is lucky I didn't press charges. Let's talk about how she was totally okay with forging documentation because she didn't want to pay for people to be trained properly. Money hungry people exploiting good people and it is absolutely disgusting. I wish I trusted my intuition sooner, but I overlooked it because I cared so much about what we were doing. Don't be a fool like me. Set standards and stick with them. You are worth so much more than being a slave for greed. I would give this company a zero if I could because there is a lot more that went on that can cause me to write a novel. The scar near my vein reminds me to never sacrifice my own standards for anyone else again. I sliced my arm open fixing the electrical issue of one of the pods, which by the way I am not an electrican. When I mentioned it to the owner, she had the audacity to just laugh about it. Not the most enlightened thing to do when you're not even covering health insurance for me and I'm running your entire business while you go on multiple vacations within a short period... yet they didn't want to pay people BASIC LIVING WAGE. I fought for that for my team and it wasn't easy, but in the end it doesn't matter because the owners' hearts are hallow and cold. Not even worth your time.

Pros

I learned about floating and I learned about myself. I was full time, and part time in the mix of the years. They did work with my changing schedule. Which I did change 3 times in the 2.3 years I worked there. Minor changes. But - the schedule was VERY flexible and forever changing.

Cons

Money hungry owner/managers with horrible communication. Will love bomb you to see what your gifts are to capitalize on you and not pay your for the work you have done or amazing skills you have. Will only give raises to those who are also money hungry and emotionally negligent and manipulative. Will fire you with no communication, just hire someone else while scheduling you off, and will not give you a reason, or receipt so that they don’t have to pay unemployment. Do not care about employees safety, would rather focus on memberships. Patronizing. Pays like a high school job, but expects and needs real life experience to be successful business, while not honoring your real life experiences that you bring to the table. Washer and dryers were always breaking and needing extra work from employees without compensation or very little. Overall, they see a healing need and are making a business out of it, not seeing a healing need and wanting to heal those in need. Money is the primary focus and it trickles into all of the other facets of working here, when it is an emotionally taxing job. What they preaching isn’t what they selling. Would not recommend if your care about your well being and respect yourself. Turn over rate is high as well. (Specifically this branch, not company as a whole)
