      Pros

      Innovation is strong. Team members really care about one another.

      Cons

      Since Alex Gonthier returned, the company has gone way down hill. Along with his abrasive CFO Uri Zelmanovich, these two have taken a good culture and flushed it down the toilet. The technical leadership at the company, under Ezio Fernandez, has been a disaster yet the loyalty between Alex and Ezio means he can do no wrong. The company is losing the competitive advantage it once had, and Alex is too arrogant to realize he doesn't have a good grasp on the market. Alex has also replaced the key leadership team with a bunch of white men, so any DEI focus that once existed here is no more. If you want to work in Fintech and Payments, there are much better alternatives out there.

      Pros

      A few talented, genuine, lovely people work here. They put on good parties. If you want to spend a short time hyping up a poor product, you will thrive here.

      Cons

      After venture group Nordic Capital bought the business they installed their board member as CEO. The once product-led strategy is now focused on generating hype around a poor product before Nordic Capital exits the business. Since 2021, a round of layoffs every 12 months has impacted staff morale. Hiring for key positions is hard, which does not bother leadership as they prefer contractors to permanent staff.

      Toxic working environment, bad management, no transparency...

      Pros

      Back in the days (about 3 years ago) this place was completely different, it was a nice and friendly feeling among the employees and also the managers. The benefits is still pretty good but for example the everyday breakfast quality is not what it was before, free Monday lunches are removed, the after works is not at all what they were... but some benefits are still good.

      Cons

      Where to begin... - it's a toxic working environment with managers that only cares about two objectives, to get what they want in their careers and take advantage of the employees work to get there. - very hierarchical, managers only like the ones that doesn't speak up and and says yes to everything. There is no interest in hearing someones opinions or improvements on different topics. - no transparency from the higher management on whats really going on - bad organization overall - bad HR department, not helpful at all
