Pros

- Opportunity to work with major brands across categories - Exposure to a range of responsibilities and ability to gain experience fast

Cons

- No work life balance. There's a collective pressure to work long hours consistently including evenings and weekends. Many colleagues are worked so hard they burnout. - Everyone is seen as replaceable, meaning there's no investment in the culture of the business. - Pure focus on 'capacity' and 'flex' rather than individual goals and suitability to projects making it feel like work is being churned out on a factory line. - Certain senior team members bully others and make life hugely uncomfortable for no reason. - High turnover of staff meaning there is little consistency of work or culture in the business. - Underpaid versus hours expected. Salaries and roles only reviewed once a year and very difficult to get anything even then.

A rat race of toxic people

Pros

Interesting projects briefs and clients to work with

Cons

There is a culture of fear and toxicity running through the company, to the extent that nobody talks to one another and communication only happens by email. People are scared of been seen to speak. I have seen many people being kicked out because they were not a 'good fit', but more people leave because they understand what the place is like. While the briefs are interesting the work is always approached from the same angle and in the same way. There is a complete lack of creativity. There is no space to challenge other's ideas constructively, share thoughts and opinions, and ask the difficult questions - which is how innovation comes about. You either learn their blueprint way of doing things or you're out! To add to this there is an evident lack of management, so directors control and fight among one another. Stay away if possible. It's a sad environment to be in. Not worth it.

Terrible culture and environment

Pros

High profile clients, decent company benefits

Cons

Very corporate culture and hierarchical manner, means that directors are focused on winning as much work possible then handing it off to the rest of the staff to do the dirty work. Directors all work in silos and look after their own clients so very little integration. Very cold hearted environment, lacks the human element of going to work. Work life balance is unheard of, late evenings and weekends are inevitable, without any thanks or acknowledgments. They've created their own company structure that isn't clear from the outset and doesn't really fit with the industry standards allowing them to make up their own rules in terms of what's expected. Poor line management.
