Good people below management, but toxic culture prevails

Pros

Many good people below middle management, but most of the directors and above are clueless corporate drones.

Cons

This company has repeatedly taken a woke stance on social issues that do not pertain to the energy sector. It permeates throughout the organization and has become a cancer. Conform to the TEP way of thinking or get managed out. I have seen it happen to so many good employees. Also, the salaries are a joke, benefits have been cut to the bone, and the company is clueless about how to evolve into new technologies. TEP does it how we have always done it, no change, no interest in changing.

Pros

Absolutely nothing about this place has a positive review.

Cons

Zero training during on-boarding, management wont provide resources for success; yet management will discipline for lack of results. Upper management cannot lead people. Instead they perform unethically. RFPs are bought and staged fir appearances. Supervisors and managers are part of a "boy club" "mean girl entourage." Anyone not part of these groups, no matter your work ethic and skill set, are at risk of being a scapegoat. Many employees fired or forced to retire due to someone's pride getting threatened. So many long tenor employees with exceptional talent was forced to leave. HR is corrupt. Legal is also corrupt. Be careful they will sabotage your reputation internally and externally.
