Pros

The company has a recent track record of some financial success and working towards a well-established reputation in the industry. The deal flow was consistently robust, and I had the chance to work on challenging and impactful projects. The compensation and benefits package offered by the firm is semi-competitive, and I am grateful for the opportunities it provided me to hone my skills in the finance sector.

Cons

While the company excels in financial matters, there is a deficiency in fostering an inclusive and communicative environment. The emphasis on a homogenized culture, driven by the partners' preference for a particular lifestyle, poses a significant obstacle to creating a workplace that values diversity and authenticity. The prevailing focus on catering to the CEO's personal preferences detracts from the genuine experience of working for a forward-thinking private equity firm. In particular, the lack of effective communication skills among team members hinders collaboration and innovation. The growing size of the company necessitates a shift towards modernizing tactics to ensure continued success. The values upheld by the leadership should reflect a commitment to inclusivity, employee well-being, and a culture that values the unique perspectives each team member brings to the table.

Pros

Smart, collaborative team where you are individually empowered. Lots of learning and ways to stretch up to contribute beyond just your role. There is exciting momentum from historical and current performance and everyone is eager to contribute to a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Cons

No micromanagement here, so you have to be proactive and process oriented given there's so much going on.

Pros

Working with experts across marketing, sales, cs, talent and getting exposure to the best practices we've developed across all those areas. Very interesting to watch how our work is directly impacting a company's performance (numerically!) and then coming up with the next optimization. Strong fund performance and I'm excited for the future!

Cons

No major cons in my 3 years here
