Horrible Con-pany

Pros

They give a lot of work, if you like keeping yourself busy and don`t expect a good return, go for it. They provide you with new vans.

Cons

They`re a company fronted by professional liars, who make it sound like there's easy money to be made. They don`t have a proper management in place so expect to be fooled around. They do not send you invoices at all and work out only an estimate to pay you. Many drivers don`t get paid at all and they`re sacked without valuable reasons. If you do get paid, expect to get around 4 quid an hour.

Pros

None, please please please avoid at all costs

Cons

If you want to work somewhere and are happy to pay for the pleasure then this is the job for you , I'm trapped in this job after threats about breaching contract , van hire charges even after the van goes back , and then withholding payments for another 60 days , I've not even earned enough to pay the £1500 retainer they take money straight from any payment I've earned , including the tax which I will be expected to pay the tax man , I have been financing the fuel etc from savings ( which have now gone) so I'm borrowing to pay for fuel to driver amazons parcels , and not earning a penny to pay for ukexpress van hire charges and other costs they add on without informing me . I am going to seek legal advice about this so called contract . Please keep away is my only advice !

Pros

avoided imminent "Job Centre" hassle

Cons

Long hours, crap money, expensive van & fuel card, money "retained" for no good reason, contradicting documentation, excessive claims for 'damages' which are just 'wear and tear', refuse to negotiate. Too much 'control' to be self-employed. Every error/problem blamed on drivers and company expect to be compensated!! Termination 'procedure' is just an excuse to keep money owed to drivers. No money available until £1500 accumulated despite costs of around £30 per day for fuel. Driver charged for van on days without work. Mileage rate doesn't cover fuel so the further you have to drive, the worse off you will be! Don't believe anything they say, there might only be 2 or 3 days work in a week, you could have to drive over 300 miles a day and ANY issued raised by their client could result in a lost day!
