Online businesses do need to be fleet of foot, but that is very different to constantly changing major decisions around product areas that will / wont launch. brand strategies, M&A, Above the line activity, prospecting strategies, CSR statement, partnerships and affiliations...you name it, it changed...constantly
There was a feeling of having no control, no say, no ownership and as such people have left in their droves...most voluntarily
They rode the wave of lockdown, but did not and have not changed their strategies at all and as such as the world opened up and people could spend money on stuff other than home renovations, their business slowed down...adding another 'I told you so' frustration for the colleagues who had been trying to grow and diversify the strategies employed
