Some of the employees are highly skilled and friendly. Most are arrogant and unwilling to share information. They feel you haven't earned the information.

Cons

All family owned companies are difficult to work for. Here the ownership is rude and self-centered.

Growing privately held company (don’t have to answer to shareholders!); Helpful coworkers; chance to learn new skills; managers work with one’s schedule in order to make family and other appointments; bonus possibilities with hard work; plenty of travel and opportunity to earn loyalty points/miles.

Cons

Short notice of weekly schedule, at times, but if you’ve done field service for 22 years like I have, then you are accustomed to quickly changing schedules.
