Pros

- Great team environment - Only need to work Monday through Friday (but Saturday is an option) - The more work you put into it, the more money you're likely to make

Cons

- They discourage you from taking base salary + commission option and want you to do 100% commission for this job - When you run with another team member, usually the veteran of the group will take majority of the sale even if they are in your territory. Very few managers will give you 50/50 or even all of the sale even though you guys both worked together to get the sale. - They're not up front about what the job is until you start training - No expense compensation even though you're driving your own car and adding miles to your car (they say you can write it off in taxes, but you receive a w-2 from the company so this doesn't apply to everyone) - You MUST go into the office every day and they basically do the same things over and over again, even if your territory is far away from the office. - They discourage long lunches (anything more than 15 minutes) because that could be time you can go to other businesses to pitch - Majority of the business owners you see think it is a scam and you will get yelled at and even threatened. You are straight up interrupting business owners from their job. - Sometimes deals don't go through right away, so you think you'll get paid a certain amount, but they get delayed.

Pros

Quick money off a 100% commission based salary Management and leaders care about you and your success team building nights

Cons

Deceiving job ads - you are not managing an account or being a broker these are all fancy words to undermine the fact that you are a door to door energy sales rep. Vague job description during interview - they try their hardest not to tell you what you're actually doing Long hours (8-5:30), use your own car, only commission

Pros

If you are comfortable pitching to random businesses door to door B2B SALES JOB at a specific location then go ahead and take this job. Supportive staff but must have will to walk B2B and talk

Cons

They don't tell you it's an all day walking JOB that's STRAIGHT COMMISSION B2B DOOR TO DOOR INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR Businesses will YELL at you to leave Pitch to random strangers at businesses to get their electric billing info.. I didn't understand even if we did that and got a bill what confused me was if we were even pitching them a good deal on energy costs???? No explanation from staff. we pitched to make sales in all... Most of all the staff are in it for straight commission. If paired up on team days B2B more experienced workers got HIGHER PROFIT AND A HIGHER PAY while the least experienced got barely nothing... Managers get bonuses for new hires so they will literally hire a monkey to do this job.
