Pros

Strong community that supports the tech

Cons

Where to begin. Ultralytics suffers from a glaring lack of professional leadership, with management displaying both a troubling degree of favoritism and a clear lack of experience. The founder, in particular, exhibits erratic and emotionally volatile behavior, creating a consistently unstable environment. Unfortunately, this dysfunction spills over to every part of the business, affecting partners, clients, employees, and especially those who have since left. Compensation is far below industry standards, and there is little to no effort invested in building a healthy or motivating company culture. Feedback is rarely welcomed unless it aligns with existing biases, and constructive criticism is often met with defensiveness or hostility. The company’s foundation feels worryingly fragile, built more on ego and reaction than strategy and structure. It's difficult to envision a serious investor placing their trust in a setup this brittle or disorganized.

Good for international resume, no business sense

Pros

Technology and product potential are promising. Proactivity is expected with a certain level of liberty when it comes to "how you do what needs to get done". Remote work.

Cons

Top management has no sense of business and leadership, takes business guidance based on intuition. Cronyism at its best. Business decision vary on daily mood. Meetings are hectic with no formal responsibility and ownership of projects and tasks. Expected work on weekends. Lack of structure is expected, do not recommend it if you expect your JD responsibilities to match you day-to-day activities. You would say normal for a startup, but these guys have been around for 4+ years. The company is proud on their international team, but I have been personally discriminated and have witnessed discrimination of other teammates.

Pros

You get to manage popular accounts with real engagement. Creative freedom with content and campaigns. The community actually responds and shares stuff which makes the job rewarding. Can try different platforms and strategies without too much red tape. Budget for tools/promos is decent.

Cons

Hard to make technical AI stuff trendy. Constant posting schedule. Small team means you're pretty much solo. Engineers don't always get why social takes time.
