Pros

Everyone is involved in the creation process and this helps people to know the customer needs and the product very well, The HR team is setting up very good procedures and practices in order to improve the people welfare, even if sometimes this stays on paper. Five stars to the good interaction and collaboration between design team and dev team. They could create a very nice working flow which works very well. One of the best things I guess.

Cons

Low salaries. It's an early startup, processes are confused and their application not consistent. The dev team was not very well organized and the lead was not able to exploit the resources in the team and their background. Very good people with good hard and soft skills worked in the team but, when they saw that there was no chanche to grow up, they left. Lot of micro management in the dev department. Manager is resistant to delegate and at the same time not able to keep control of everything. General management doesn't seem to be interested in how the teams are feeling about the team management.

Pros

Nothing good about it. All that they sell is fake. Remote work possible: not true. You will be badly seen and shamed upon. “The bosses” come and go as they please. They have fired 3 people in the worst way possible, plus like other 5 have left in less than 7 months. ALSO they’ve asked current employers to leave reviews on this website DURING WORK HOURS. Salaries are not competitive at all and the offices all together very poor, you have coffee , yeiii. Typical startup that’s not even a startup (it’s 12 people) and has a lot of inside vices.

Cons

This is not a good place to work. They sell you this idea of a open door, work-life balance company, Not true. The “bosses” have this super strong hierarchical -friendship situation, in which only they are right and will be listen to. There’s this woman in a “high position” and she would preach to be women forward and supportive, as long as you don’t have a voice of your own or course, of a different opinion.

Meaningful work

Pros

The problem unblur is solving is a very important problem and to work on it gives you a real sense of purpose everyday when you go to work. The potential of the product is massive, right now it’s almost at the beginning of its life, but I see a future with some really interesting engineering opportunities. The employees are knowledgeable not only in the area of emergency services, but also technically and everyone is extremely personable. The culture is diverse and fun. Great friends have been made and maintained.

Cons

It’s a startup. If you’re looking for big-corp paper pushing culture then unblur is not for you. There is growing pains, Processes are still being formed. But you don’t have to see it as a disadvantage. It’s an amazing opportunity to make your mark.
