Unified Payments is an not a good place to work
Pros
You will get to improve your skills and move on, remove the name from your resume but add the skills to your resume
Cons
I wont recommend this evil company to my enemy. They force you to sign a N5m-N20m bond before joining, this does not stop them from still asking you to sign other bonds like training bond, etc (you can have up to 4 bonds running). They can force you to resign during the period of the bond without paying you a dine, but when you resign, they turn you to an enemy. Once you leave they will start with-hunting you, looking for ways to blackmail you wherever you moved to. If you are reading this and have not yet taken the offer or sign the wicked bond, please do not and if you are already a staff, do not stay long before you leave, add the skills to your resume but remove UP from your resume. This is the only company in Nigeria in 21st century that makes people to sign such kind of wicked bond, The attention of the FG needs to be drawn to this injustice done to Nigerians. Once you leave after giving them notice, they will still want to force you to come back to work with them, if you refuse they "dismiss" you as "Gross misconduct", Imagine a company that dismiss you have after you have resigned and left, some senior staff esp the GH corporate services and others are not helping matters. Its not a good place to work. You will commit your social, family life to the work, still they will want to harass you when you leave. No work-life balance, you spend more than 70 hrs/week in the office, if you work in Operations/technical team, you do not have a life, you can be called in the middle of the night to start rushing to the office. A lot of the staff are having health issues and challenges before of the pressure.
