Family Owned Business that truly cares

Pros

I love supporting family owned businesses. This company offers great benefits and for hourly employees, the opportunity for some great overtime. There are also team building activities. I really enjoy the paid holidays and the fact the company shuts down for a week (paid) in between Christmas and New Year.

Cons

If you are salary, you have the potential to work long hours. That is just part of the job. We host a lot of social events for our customers, as we are the manufacturer, so those are work events, but we still get to grab a cocktail and mingle with our customers.

It was a pay cheque.

Cons

I was expected to purchase for 3 plants, cover for receiving, design the warehouselayout and set up parts in the sytem. Unachievable expectations from the boys promoted to mgnt without any skills or knowledge of their positions. I was forced to punch in and out everyday and my supervisor refuse to pay for any overtime and he personallywould chang my time card. I think thats theift.
