Pros

Off during summers Great benefits Work-life balance is good if you know how to say no

Cons

Administration lacks consistency in direction The organization is quite top heavy The hierarchy structure is confusing for this role There is very little incentive to go above and beyond. You're locked into a 3% year over year raise regardless if you perform exceptionally well or barely hit the marks

Pros

Well resourced. Strong Leadership from the CEO to my principal. Consistently improving and outscoring peers. Consistent and strong community of teachers that are both talented and passionate about their work. Great diversity in our building from staff to students and families. Well tenured teachers who are dedicated. The CEO allows for principals to drive priorities in their building, which shows trust in leadership.

Cons

The have been changes at times with HR.
