Guys, what did you expect?

Pros

Take home truck, gas card, cellphone, and good boots all provided. Pay is decent for no experience.

Cons

Only the cons that you make. I.e. excuses. Look, it’s an outdoor job. I keep hearing “weather” is a con. Really? What did you expect? 70 degrees, sunshine, and roses all the time? “Long hours”? Come on. That’s the problem with people today. They don’t want to put in the work. You want an 8 hour day Monday thru Friday? Fine. Finish college and go work in an office. “Stressful”? Please. Yes, jobs are stressful. Stop being soft. Do the work, and deal with it. Stop expecting people to hold your hand and make everything easy for you. Stress happens. Tough it out princess!

Pros

No boss hovering over your shoulder. Company truck and gas card. Outside all the time so on sunny days you get a lot of fresh air.

Cons

Drive cam always goes off, On call will blow up your phone at 3 am for something that you don't even need to locate, when it rains you're still outside. When there is a blizzard you are still outside.......putting paint on snow.

Pros

They give you a company truck and have a boot program that is great. They will teach you a skill that can be useful at many other companies.

Cons

They expect you to work 60+ hours a week 6+ days a week. No consideration for you, your family or personal life. The workload is unrealistic and they don't care. The benefits are a joke. If you want to work 10-14 hours a day and not feel appreciated, then this is the place for you, otherwise skip it.
