Pros

The company is very much people focussed. Generally quite open and transparent. The company has an elaborate performance management system.

Cons

In many areas, there is too much centralisation of decision making. Very bureaucratic in many ways that slows down progress of work and causes delays. Lot of politics.

Pros

Growing Market of Water/Wastewater treatment in India and abroad. Great Office.

Cons

Highly corrupt business with project-wins politically motivated. Projects need to be lobbied with Water Boards, State Ministries and Central Ministries. % commissions given to all of them. Project cost always won at Lowest Bid and disqualify other competitors through lobbying. Low cost affects employee salaries and benefits. It is NOT a technology company although it is shouted from the top. No R&D and certain people are present for namesake.

Wabag Romania

Pros

Short Friday. Vacation tickets, 13th salary.

Cons

The worst company ever. Wabag Romania is a nest of wasps. The CEO and CFO are like Bonnie and Clyde. They make money with help of suppliers. The procurement is managed by their most trustworthy person. The procurement savings are not more than one digit, and almost never above 4-5%. The rest returns to in their pockets. The management, especially the CFO which is also the head of HR Cluster, likes to spread rumors between employees and turn them against each other. This way all the employees hate each other and they control everyone. The organisational health of this company is at cancer level. The CFO forced us to sign a document which allows them to monitor us by electronics means. All the personal data is being recorded and stored. The persons who refused to sign this document was told to leave the company if they will not sign. There are no rules in Procurement, Project Management and Sales. The word if the CFO and CEO is the rule. It wouldn't be o problem if they would have some knowledge about this. But they are zero. If you are coming with recommendations, the CFO starts to scream like a spoiled kid. Is pathetic. The CEO doesn't care to much about this, because he is a forigner and he minds only about his revenue. Actually the CFO runs the company as she please. She is bending the reports and the numbers, to look good on paper. The only good thing good in this company is that you learn how to control your anger.
