Pros

there are no pros, maybe a few good people to work with but nothing else.

Cons

I recently concluded my tenure and unfortunately, my experience has been less than satisfactory. This review aims to provide a candid overview of the working conditions, organizational structure, and leadership dynamics within the company. Work Environment (⭐️): The work environment at can be described as toxic and demoralizing. There is a palpable lack of camaraderie among team members, and the overall atmosphere is characterized by tension and negativity. Unfortunately, the absence of a dedicated Human Resources department exacerbates the issues, leaving employees without a proper channel to address their concerns. Valuable employees are let go, while people who wouldn't even function as a toddler keep their jobs. Lack of Direction (⭐️): One of the most significant challenges I faced during my time was the pervasive lack of direction. The company appeared to operate without a clear vision or long-term strategy. This lack of clarity affected day-to-day operations, causing confusion among employees and hindering productivity. Team members often found themselves working towards conflicting goals, leading to frustration and a sense of aimlessness. Unstable Leadership (⭐️): The leadership was characterized by constant changes and an apparent unwillingness to listen to data-driven insights. CEOs frequently altered their expectations and priorities, leaving employees scrambling to adapt to ever-shifting demands. This lack of consistency hindered the development of a cohesive and effective workflow, making it challenging for teams to achieve their objectives. Decision-Making Process (⭐️): Crucial business decisions were often made arbitrarily, without proper consideration of data and analysis. Despite the availability of valuable insights, the leadership consistently disregarded evidence-based recommendations, leading to questionable choices that had a detrimental impact on the company's performance. In conclusion, my time was marked by a toxic work environment, a lack of clear direction, and leadership that seemed resistant to positive change. I would caution prospective employees to thoroughly consider the organizational culture before joining this company, as the challenges I experienced may hinder personal and professional growth. It is my hope that this review serves as a constructive critique, encouraging them to reevaluate its practices and foster a more supportive and productive workplace for its employees.

Pros

- Great bottle-level coworkers. Many of them will feel like friends. - Monthly wellness stipend. I'm not sure if this is still going on though. - VOESH has amazing products. It's fun to actually market great products that you will genuinely use. - 100% remote (for now) - Company laptop upon hire - Great employee discount on products. It's nice to be able to purchase all of their products at a discounted rate so you can experience them to better market them. - Beauty industry is very fun to be in.

Cons

- Lack of diversity on marketing team - No HR. I'm in a company now that has an AWESOME HR team with many individuals. It's nice to now be apart of a company that actually looks out for you as an employee and sets you up for success. At VOESH, we didn't have anybody in HR. Only one leadership individual took care of all HR matters which seemed a bit strange now looking back. You won't have anybody to talk to if something goes wrong so please keep that in mind. - Regular "reorganizations" and changing company/marketing objectives. You will constantly feel like you're on edge and that you are never doing enough because of the change and ambiguity. You'll not only have the "Sunday Scaries" but the "Everyday Scaries," unfortunately. - High expectations and high pressure. Expect to work way beyond your 8-5. - Salary is not competitive. - No career growth due to lack of mentorship or HR/learning opportunities - Very short staffed. Prepare to be working the job of multiple people and very long hours. - Constant meetings. You really have to plan when you'll actually get your work done and, often times, it's after working hours. - Unrealistic and unsupportive leadership and senior management team

Pros

Interesting role where you work on different projects and get to learn a lot.

Cons

Company has absolutely no HR - if there is an issue within the team, nobody to talk to. Higher management is dismissive.
