Pros

-The coworkers -The work experience for the resume -Volunteer OT sometimes

Cons

-Unfair wages that don't match minimum or even meet inflation in some cases -Worst benefits I have ever seen -Abundant silent hiring everywhere -Breaking contract agreements by skipping performance reviews (3 month, 6 month, etc.) -No matching job descriptions per workload -Additional jobs placed on higher performing employees for no incentive -Blatant nepotism from management to employees that boosts their career at VF -Treated as numbers instead of human -Unaffordable/underpaid to even own a home working here -Yearly budget never put in place -Coworkers walking out of the job left and right from the stressful/underpaid work environment -Horrible schedules -Horrible way of tracking what employees are working on -Everything is under stress due to corporate/upper management giving unobtainable goals -Grew too fast -Shift premiums (evening/weekends) department-wide but not company-wide

Pros

Made friends, got my start in my desired field, 50% off valley fiber bill, decent health benefits

Cons

awful wages and appreciation for backend staff, concerns reported to management are rarely actioned if ever addressed, very difficult to get a fair wage to workload ratio, unhelpful human resources most times. Executives often are combative and stubborn to change when discussing the treatment of entry level staff, very hard to work with or get any changes done. In some departments, employees are often not only encouraged/asked to work overtime but EXPECTED leading to having no work/life balance. Don't even ask about the nepotism or double standards....

Pros

- Coworkers are great, haven't had many people here as co workers that i did not like. - Fairly accommodating with PTO -work experience

Cons

- Underpaid. 95% of employees here feel as if they are underpaid and far under market value for their positions. Constantly told excuses like for our area its fair, or that its not in the budget. Wages are anywhere from 5 - 20$ under market value. - For a homegrown company they are awfully corporatized in the worst way. Senior management does not understand the environment and work life they have created for their employees. The entire company feels like a sell out where they are not focused on the customers, but rather the shareholders. - Bare minimum benefits. The only reason they have these is so that they can list benefits on job postings, but they cover almost nothing. most of the work force sits in front of a computer every day and you get 1 eye consultation partially paid for. Nothing else is covered in eyes. -24/7 schedules ensure that you can never get a schedule to stay solid. -Since being bought by DIF the company has taken a downward trend of unrealistic goals and high turn over rate for employees. They will try to milk everything they can out of you with no pay raises, and promise better things in the future. Its safe to say good things will never come. -communication between departments is awful. Pointing fingers to everyone else. -processes have become over processed and putting a stress on all employees. -goals are set by senior management and unrealistic. -Gaslit into thinking this is a good place to work, when in reality its a workplace filled with incompetent management who only care to keep you there for the bare minimum they can. -Pizza parties instead of wage increases -senior management can only see the money. -employees feel forced to take on extra work to get anywhere and managers will milk as much of this as they can. then employees feel expendable if they don't take the work. -Company would rather hire new people than invest in the ones it has.
