Pros

Cheap rice so better than nothing

Cons

Currently making anyone not on a 100% office based full time contract redundant & replacing them with people shipped in from India, who know if they don’t work under ridiculous conditions will be sent back. The owner is threatening people with loosing their jobs if they talk to any ex employees & unfortunately young naive people go along with this. I cant even put into words how toxic it has been working here.

- No structure or procedures in place - Lack of training and support from day 1 - Chaotic environment - Lack of cross department collaboration - Gossip shared between management and subordinates - Managerial knowledge and experience withheld to protect their own self interest - Lack of opportunities for progression - Archaic and patriarchal management style - No future outlook - Reactive decision making without proper assessment - Overtime expect without appreciation

Great potential but sadly lacking direction

Pros

A really talented team of individuals from all backgrounds. Socially, a very friendly bunch. The business has strong prospects with some retailers. Employees are compensated well financially. If you 're a yes man, you'll progress here.

Cons

The Senior management team are dated in terms of management skill and their general approach to operating a business. No clear, long-term business strategy. Decision making is centralised at the top and collaboration of ideas is not proactively encouraged amongst teams. Directive is top-down, and often is actioned without any rationale or data to back up decisions other than personal opinion/what satisfies their ego. Decisions often take on a scatter gun approach, which consequently means time and resource gets wasted as original plans often get U-turned. No project managers mean poor internal communication as teams grapple to fulfil actions. Management known to make empty threats/criticising staff as a way of "motivating" employees to work harder.
