This is the most pressured and abusive environment I have ever worked in. The photographers were lovely but the sales team and managers were awful. You're lured in with the promise of great career growth, but in reality you're just fighting against your colleagues to keep your position. The way customers are targeted and brought in is shameful, and the tactics used within the viewing to get final sales are unbelievable. I was consistently underpaid the commission I had earned, the manager refused to issue me a contract, and ended up firing me when she (incorrectly) suspected I was pregnant.

Bullies within hierarchy of studios, training means they have reason not to give you a pay rise and it's hard to move upwards if you don't know the right people. Pushy sales techniques and incredibly expensive for people who can't afford it.
