Not a good job if you have real life bills

Pros

Very laid back atmosphere, people seem friendly and like they want to help.

Cons

Lots of days where you go to work and make no money, the actual job is not explained well in interviews. This is business to business sales with no compensation for gas, wear and tear on vehicles, traveling 2+ hours away, and is solely based on commission at very low rates. A lot of times you actually are losing money just by coming to work. Also issues with actually getting paid for the sales you do make. There is opportunities for growth to become an owner. But the owner makes a bunch of money while the employees sometimes only make $25, $50 or $100 for the entire week. Says job is Monday-Friday but if you haven’t made any money they just encourage you to work on weekends as well. Not very diverse work environment either.

Pros

Truly equal opportunity for ALL people- no favoritism, nepotism, discrimination or racism of any kind. Incredible learning opportunity, both business and personally Entrepreneurial with potential of opening your own business Great family atmosphere

Cons

This is a career opportunity-not a job. Don’t apply if more interested in hourly wages and ability to slack off Requires a solid commitment of both time and effort. Strong work ethic necessary Your success is also dependent upon the campaign your are working on and the quality of the in-house recruiter.

Pros

They hire anyone, gives you job experience

Cons

EVERYTHING! The pay is terrible. You split most of your commission. The owner “Buck” is lazy and not friendly. An older guy that works there doesn’t follow the “system” but won’t get fired because he’s the only person that’s been there longer then 3 weeks. We share an office with another similar company and it’s probably because there’s no money being made. The pay scale is apparently better then it used to be and idk how anyone makes money or “gets out” to run their own business. People stay there between 1 day to 3 weeks max. You drive your own car, waste your own gas, and sometimes HAVE to drive 2+ hrs away. I’ve never been out of the city before this job! If you don’t spend 10-12 hrs a day working between sales, meetings, one on ones, and team nights, the you feel bad and they guilt you. This company’s product they sale has been around St. Louis for so long that everyone have it, don’t want it, or had a bad experience with it. RUN AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE FROM THIS JOB OR ANY LIKE IT!
