Pros

I truly can't think of one, uh friendly receptionist, guy I interviewed with was super cool and personable but when I started 2 weeks later learned he was fired.

Cons

Office is so cramped, don't even have a proper cubicle it's like a 2x3 ft desk with dividers, literally like boiler room packed in. 1st day of training they throw you a 28 page agreement and tell you to memorize it with no time in class to do so, so after spending 8 hrs learning about company policies and doing math equations you have to go home and memorize it, before sending you to California for "boot camp". I was super excited to start a new career but after learning the guy I just met with two weeks prior was fired I knew something with this company was up. They said growth was crazy and great time and they've been doing training class after training class for 4 months straight as I saw on career builder it was true but when i got the tour found it extremely odd that after all this hiring and training their were only 20 reps on the floor which means one thing, the people they are hiring are quitting after realizing how much they try to brainwash you and nothing they tell you is true. When you start you get like 3-4 leads which suck, all good leads go to outside reps. So you spend all day calling the same people over and over to look busy. Sorry I wasted my time and gas to drive to such a dump.

don't believe the hype - the 4+ star rating is just an internal PR scam

Pros

opportunity to make an ok living, not great, just ok get experience in the still excitingly fresh solar industry good initial training

Cons

Beware - Verengo employees are constantly encouraged to submit positive reviews on websites like Glassdoor to make the co look better ... seriously! absolutely no work-life balance and the company truly doesn't live up to its values pay is sub par when compared to most other major solar companies around serious lack of communication from top down with too much secrecy and behind closed doors dealings no real appreciation for the employees on the front lines impossible to get quick answers or real support from anyone overly complicated pay structure that no one seems to understand or able to explain how a rep gets paid upper management not interested or willing to listen to suggestions from the field or shall we say cries for help Im not even going to mention the poor customer service ... what a giant headache! the whole company seems so poorly ran that I don't even know how they managed to pull it off for so long LOL

Pros

Training touted by Sales Manager and recruiter as BEST in industry. Told they would give me three weeks of the best training anywhere. Trainer was a great guy

Cons

NONE of what they said was true. Nothing. Training was two truncated weeks, out of order, inadequately presented, high pressure. Only 1/3 passed Final Exam, for which NONE of us was adequately prepared. Feel like I dodged a bullet. Oh, and three people in upper mgmt resigned in the two weeks I spent in training.
