Difficult if female. All operations women (outside of HR) with any authority demoted. Difficult if non-engineer. All non-engineer staff with any authority demoted in favour of engineers, some with less than 6 months at company. President is American and brings the USA litigious approach. Core company values are a myth if President perceives interference with his agenda. Philanderer and favors American friends. HR group is massive reflecting on number of HR related tracking transactions and corporate staff numbers. HR members are feared due to executive level influence. HR business partners will not hesitate at going above supervisory head to achieve HR agenda. Very political, very camped (guarded) departmental environment. Attempting to affect change where it is desperately needed can be an exercise in international career threatening relations.
