- No direction.
- Consistently sets up their employees to fail.
- Zero support for their employees.
- Absolutely no career growth. They won't even pay for certifications.
- Leadership has no vision, but they do a good job of making you think they do.
- No bonuses, despite promises of them.
- The code base is completely wrecked. No enforcement of good practices, let alone best practices. The clients have no idea how far gone the software really is.
- I didn't get a proper employee review for two years. When I finally did get one, my (new) manager had nothing but negative things to say. Despite his consistent remarks of satisfaction up to that point. He literally told me the week prior that after my upcoming performance review, he was going to push to get me a long overdue raise. The truth is that leadership didn't want to give me (or anyone, really, since profits are/were in the toilet) a raise, so my manager got the unfortunate task of trying to make up reasons to justify that decision.
