Pros

Hearing a veteran tell you they received a disability increase was very fulfilling, some co-workers are actually good people.

Cons

In the department I was a part of, team leads were absolutely CLUELESS. The manager was downright awful to people if she didn't like you. If you were on her good side you were seen as a favorite and you wouldn't get in trouble for the simple things everyone else got written up for. The manager was always telling employees to not gossip but she was the biggest gossiper of the entire department. There were plenty of times I'd overhear the manager talking about other employees personal issues openly like it was no big deal. When the company hires you they tell you that you will get a pay increase after 90 days so long as you were in good standing. Conveniently enough, most of these new hires would get a write up just before their 90 days. I guess this is how they keep themselves from having to spend more money on employees. Management and "team leads" are never at their desk. You can literally walk around the entire building looking for them to only find them outside on a "smoke break." Mind you, employees are made to clock out for 15 min (paid) breaks yet management and leads are not expected to be at their desks at all times. Do NOT apply to work for this company, they will not treat you well unless you "play the game" and office politics is just NOT IT. Please, just run from this place.

We appreciate your feedback. The veteran clients that we serve deserve the best support from all of our employees so expectations have been set high. We provide in depth training and continuing education so all employees have the tools that are necessary to do the best at their jobs. Process improvement can not only make the clients experience better but the employees as well and ideas to improve processes are considered if expressed to management. The purpose of 90 day reviews are to evaluate the following metrics; performance, attendance, teamwork, tenure, and contributions attendance. Raises are given at many different points in an employee's tenure and are not specific to the 90 day review period. Any claim of unethical behavior by an employee is taken seriously and immediately investigated by HR and handled in accordance with the rules outlined in the employee handbook.

Pros

Helping, assisting, and supporting veterans

Cons

The owners aren’t present and they’ve left the future and professionalism for veterans in the hands of an individual that is only interested in personal “gratification”. The employees with any true knowledge and morality has been forced/bullied out.

Pros

Co workers are wonderful. Sadly, working together is not encouraged.

Cons

Management is demeaning and hateful. Incompetent and ungrateful. Blood pressure rises every time you hear let's chat!

We appreciate your feedback. Town hall meetings are intended for employees and management to have an open dialog about problems or issues. We have found it effective and helpful for employees to be able to speak candidly and it allows management to hear feedback so they can grow in their leadership skills. We value employees having a positive relationship with their management team and consistently provide opportunities where management can become better leaders through training courses, leadership conferences, and guidance from HR. A part of HR’s role is to give support to employees and help them resolve their issues in effective ways. If an employee is having difficulty with their team lead it sometimes requires a conversation to take place with all parties involved so we can find a resolution. This is not retaliation but a way that problems can be solved with open communication. Again, we appreciate the feedback and strive to create a good working environment for all of our employees.
