Pros

Its a paycheck for a few weeks until you find something better which won't be too hard

Cons

The goal is just to get clients to pay deposits. They promise things in a proposal and then send a long contract that says they won't guarantee anything in the proposal. Clients leave after a few weeks and threaten legal action. Promises are made and broken constantly. The CEO has no prior experience but learned everything from job seminars. Her previous job was singing in Casino Malls. She's rude to employees and especially rude when she doesn't understand how something works, which is regularly. She talks down to people on company zooms because she doesn't understand things. She plays obvious favorites with employees who are even more incapable than her that have no background in PR. Nobody at the company has prior experience. It's just about getting deposits and getting through the month. Employees leave weekly/daily. The only pro is a paycheck but they'll lie to you about what you're getting paid. They will not send out 1099's because they don't understand tax codes.

Pros

- Work from home. - No cold calling, all inbound leads. - A lot of resources to learn high end sales tactics. - Diversity in the staff.

Cons

- 100% commission, you will be encouraged to close year long deals even though you will collect the commission from it month by month. This would not be a big deal if you stay here for the long run, but the fire/quit rate at Victorious PR is very high. Feel free to take a look at the Sales Slack channel and you will see that the average length of a sales closer is about 3-5 months meaning you will never see the majority of what you sold. - You will be told that you are in a family. If you speak to anyone on any given department you will find that most people are scared of getting fired at any moment and no one 'cares' about you as when you quit or get fired everyone will be sacred to mention it out of fear of retaliation. - You will be pushed harder then in any previous job you have had. You will be yelled at, belittled, and scolded, and thats if your doing a decent job. If you suck, your gone. All of your calls will be monitored and you will have the goal post of what is expected of you changed on a weekly basis as they try to find the most optimal way to extract work out of you and pay you at a later date. - You will not be educated on PR, they want you to emotionally trick people into paying five/six figures with clever sales tactics while not guaranteeing them anything on their end. "Sell the sizzle not the Steak". You at times will sell deals and feel gross because you won't see that money and you just ripped a person off. If you don't believe me take two minutes to look at all the testimonials and see that all those clients have cancelled their PR with Victorious.

Pros

Opportunity to work remotely from home

Cons

Personal advice - do not accept a position at this firm if you have any other options for employment available. The pay structure lends itself to acct managers to take on an immense amount of work if they want to make good money. But most crucially, the leadership at the very top is very poor - antiquated management style, tasteless promotion and glorification of hustle culture from the top down, and the biggest red flag of all: calling employees 'family', yet regarding them as expendables. During my time there, several employees were let go with little to no notice.
