Not the best experience... but also was not horrible
Pros
- Work-from-home flexibility is great - People are quite nice and helpful - Product itself is quite good and well received in the market - Shorter work day (aligns closer to school hours) - Based is decent for an SDR Role
Cons
- As an SDR, no real money to be made. Commission for proposed OTE is definitely not realistic, so most of your income is base - Too much of an SDR's commission is reliant on other people to convert the sale, which most of the time takes several months! - Although it's a good product and market leader, it's still a very boring product (screen sharing, digital signage...) to sell and involvement in the sales process is extremely entry-level, i.e. you won't be learning how to sell, only booking appointments/demos for BDMs - No ongoing training offered - Management is very close-minded when it comes to receiving ideas and implementing changes - Can't really sell over school holidays as offices mostly closed, so can't earn comms for 10 weeks out of the year!
