Payday every fortnight, even then they didnt get that right, lol

Cons

Service Manager, hiring family and friends, not advertising positions. Promoting internally, making sure boot licks who had no idea about supervision were in charge as long as they agreed with everything management told them. The culture of the company is horrible, it promotes suck ups and people who have no idea what they are doing but if they suck up hard enough to management their jobs will be safe even if they lose tools, keys, vehicles etc.

Working with intelligent people is a big plus. Has offices around the world.

Cons

The long term employees do not value the input of those with external industry experience. This is holding back the capability of the organisation , its people, and its products. The level of interaction between lifers and new employees is terribly low and when it happens is not productive.

Vix is undergoing a transformation in many areas as it recognises scope for improvement and finally has the courage to tackle long standing issues. An exciting time to be a part of the journey. If you just keep doing the same things in the same way, you will get the same result. So Vix is trying something different. In a global organisation, with significant clients but a relatively small workforce, the opportunities for career progression are significant. Great place to work, especially if you like to travel. New and enthusiastic management team. Focusing on new technology and away from legacy software...finally.

Cons

The organisation change has lead to some disruption. The changes have been slower to finalise than would have been expected. Still using dated tools while we wait for them to be replaced.
