Company culture requires more than pink office walls

Pros

- WFH flexibility - Mental health leave - 3pm finishes on Friday - Working in a fast moving and interesting industry - Dogs in the office

Cons

-Unqualified founders and senior management that led to a toxic workplace culture and a total lack of best practise work. - Minimal processes - this place was chaos on a good day. - Ethically shady decisions pushed through by senior management. - Staff consistently felt undervalued, leading to a huge amount of turnover. - Business was 'purpose washed' - whilst the front line staff believe in what the company stands for, the leaders do not and only care about the money it gets them. - Male founders hide behind feminine branding trying to give the impression it's a 'female led' brand. - Opportunities for raises or promotions were few and far between unless you were a founders favourite. - Staff have to continuously fight and justify their ideas as founders micromanage and don't trust them to do their jobs.
