Pros

Can’t think of any pros at WRI India.

Cons

A highly toxic organization where managers are busy fighting among each other. Priyanka Sulkhlan is one of the worst managers who keeps pulling leg at each step. Very unhealthy for mental health.

Pros

Excellent culture, brilliant people. Fosters a new learning curve and there are many growth opportunities if you know how to grab them.

Cons

Certain teams are really bad. Senior management can be very rude and biased towards a few people.

Pros

Good benefits, one of the higher paying think tanks, good exposure to the industry and policymakers. Some of the work has been making a real difference in India. They are good at bringing stakeholders together and enabling dialogue. Good early career exposure.

Cons

Focused too much on optics. Can get influenced by funders sometimes (but that's the non-profit world in general). Needs to shift attention to enabling implementation, even though that is not WRI's primary work. They inform policies and empower others to do the implementation. Team dynamics can be better.
