-Leadership and senior management have low emotional intelligence and don't take responsibility for team issues. Instead, they put the blame on individuals. -Unethical company. They will paint a nice picture during interviews, but those are false. -Culture is terrible and getting worse, and individuals are retaliated upon when reporting issues. -Toxic and low-performing non-technical leaders exist who are incapable of taking feedback or solving actual problems. -Bad work/life balance. Burned-out employees need to do more with less, and they will become a target if they speak up. -There is a lack of true collaboration. Many employees are research students without industrial experience, doing rough, experimental work in silos with little to no value in the real world, making it very difficult to deliver a valid product. -Compensation and benefits are subpar compared to competitors, and equity awards are worthless.
