Pros

-human centered -flexible - it's about getting the work done - not from where or what hours you work -shared passion to make a positive difference in the world

Cons

-company is growing like crazy which means there is a bit of confusion from time to time (if you want to be told what to do - waggl isn't for you - it needs self starters, creative thinkers and folks that can hold themselves accountable)

Great Experience at Waggl

Pros

I worked at Waggl for over a year and during that time was able to develop enormously in my career. The culture at Waggl is great and the team is extremely flexible with employees working remote. Waggl isn't your traditional Bay Area tech startup (there are no catered lunches, snacks, ping pong tables etc) and is run by experienced entrepreneurs. This is reflected in how quickly Waggl was able to grow while being completely bootstrapped. If you're interested in learning a ton and having mentorship from great people Waggl is a good place.

Cons

- Sausalito office can be a hike from SF - Compensation is low - Team is a bit older and most people have families (this can be a pro but don't expect happy hours, events etc etc) - Competitors have a war chest of VC money (Glint, CultureAmp) and are going at the market extremely aggressively. - sometimes people care too much about how people feel about things instead of making quick decisions

Pros

What excites me about working at Waggl is the opportunity to have an open lane to run. As a younger professional, I looked for organizations that were deliberate in their development of talent and openness to consider ideas from those more junior in their career. I feel heard and valued, and it's given me exposure to areas of work beyond my title. When people think of early-stage start-ups, especially as a young professionals, it's often based on development and career trajectory. I feel like I hopped onto a rocket ship headed for Jupiter

Cons

- A good chunk of people work from home, making it hard to coordinate happy hours - We don't have bagels or snacks - Office can get loud sometimes as it's open
