Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re sorry that you felt this way about your time at Walsingham Support. We work collaboratively to get the best outcome and welcome feedback from our staff, it is because of this that we are one of the leading national specialist care providers. All staff are paid above minimum wage and our payroll team work hard to ensure each staff member is accurately remunerated at the end of every month, should this rarely not be the case, they swiftly rectify any issues. We value the work of our staff and understand the roles can be demanding, we also have awards and rewards in place to highlight and recognise the dedicated work of our staff teams which are agreed upon at managerial discretion. Our management teams display friendly professionalism in their interactions with team members and work to be as visible as they can. In addition to this, weekly meetings occur to ensure each team member has the opportunity to voice any concerns they may have regarding their work. All staff receive mandatory training prior to their start date at Walsingham Support, it is a shame that you felt the training to be inadequate, but we appreciate the feedback. We appreciate the feedback that you’ve provided. Please email hrheadoffice@walsingham.com if you would like to discuss any of your comments further.

Walsingham Support has, without a doubt, been one of my favourite jobs to date. The team are so welcoming, friendly and supportive and the People We Support are at the heart of everything we do. There are so many opportunities here to progress and lead a long and rewarding career. Staff are recognised for their hard work and a values based positive culture is evident amongst teams. I would highly recommend working here at Walsingham Support!

Cons

I have no cons to share....my overall experience working here has been fantastic. I am so sad to be leaving such an amazing company. I have developed so much as a Manager during my time here and I am so thankful for the opportunities. A new role has found me and I truly hope i've made the right decision after loving my job so much here.

Pros

I genuinely love working at Walsingham Support, My manager is the best I’ve had approachable, understanding, and consistently supportive. They take the time to listen, encourage development, and create a really positive and motivating environment for the whole team. From a recruitment perspective, it’s also very rewarding to be part of a charity. Knowing that the roles we’re hiring for directly impact people’s lives adds real purpose to the work. The team culture is collaborative, supportive, and everyone is working towards the same goal.

Cons

Recruitment in the care sector can be fast-paced and sometimes challenging, but having strong leadership and a supportive team makes a big difference.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review. It’s really encouraging to hear how supported you feel by your manager and wider team. Creating an environment where people feel listened to, valued, and able to grow is something we care deeply about, so it’s great to see that reflected in your experience. We’re also pleased that the purpose behind the work comes through so strongly. Recruitment plays a vital role in what we do, and it’s important that colleagues feel connected to the impact they’re making in people’s lives. We appreciate your honest reflection on the pace and challenges within the sector as well. It’s a reality of social care, but as you’ve highlighted, strong leadership and teamwork can make a real difference in how that feels day to day. Thank you again for your feedback and for the contribution you’re making. We’ll continue to focus on developing people-centred leadership and supporting our teams to do their best work.
