Pros

Great company to work for. These are good people that understand the business. There’s a lot of opportunity to grow and learn from knowledgeable people that care about your success. If there’s any certification you need to take to be able to go in the field to meet with a client, they will pay for it. The back-office staff are nice and will work with you if you ever need help. Paid Vacation, paid sick days, good benefits, fun incentivized trips, and have offices in Texas and the Rockies. They also have a popular name in the industry since the firm branched off a larger O&G Company out of Texas. Also I like that the CEO spends time throughout the week working with recruitment consultants and making sure they are happy.

Cons

Not an 8-5 job but I don’t look at that as a bad thing. The more you work the more you get out of it since their commission program is very nice compared to some of the companies I have worked with before.

Unethical, inflated organization

Pros

Decent entry level internal positions for those without experience or degree looking to try a career in recruiting.

Cons

Compensation never accounted for. Never trust your paycheck without checking your paystub vs your salary or hourly rate (which is likely minimum wage vs commission) Promised but never delivered health care without reporting your expenses to management. HIPPA. Expected overtime without compensation. Perks / pay / raises / commissions all empty promises and carrots on a stick. No real leads, marketing is done via Stone Age means. Those who do not accept the weekly hand they’re dealt are weeded out (don’t expect unemployment without a fight)
