Pros

I have worked here for many years because I love the product and the people both in the field and the home office. The company is growing and there is lots of opportunity to train and learn new things as far as products, sales strategies, management techniques, etc.

Cons

The ramp up time is 3 - 6 months so it may take some time before you feel like you are really standing on your own two feet. Well worth it if you want a long term career in the design industry.

Its BAD

Pros

When you first walk in to the corporate center there is an energy present. At first it feels good. That turns out to be a misconception. They have a lot of great free coffee options and cheap vending machines.

Cons

There is little to no consistency. Management tends to create elaborate plans that they do not follow through with or provide updates on. There is no accountability and bad work goes unnoticed and is never addressed. There is no coaching and no additional training. Interdepartment communication is very limited and difficult. People do not pick up phones and even if it is an issue requiring their participation, there is always an attitude. Extreme favoritism to tenured employees and this reflects negatively on the business. No idea sharing. Senior management and department heads are very out of touch with the day to day operations that employees work in everyday. Avoid this company like the plague.

Pros

Well designed, beautiful product that is timeless. Waterworks can offer everything form a single bar of soap to a complete bathroom. A Waterworks bath is a beautiful bath.

Cons

Senior management and the corporate office seem completely detached from the needs of the showrooms and field staff. There is much that is penny wise and pound foolish about how the showrooms are managed. Waterworks represents itself as a luxury brand yet, it is not uncommon for the field staff to be told to print marketing material because the glossy, professionally produced brochures are too costly. This is but one example.
