Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I had hoped for in a supposed leader in technology consulting.
For a prospective employee looking into the company, they do not pay market value for its employees. The company is well known for that fact in the industry. So if someone is in the market looking for a new role, they would be last on the list. The pay gap is considerable.
The biggest issue lies in the leadership— particularly from the CEO. Rather than inspiring confidence and clarity, the CEO often appeared disengaged from day-to-day operations and disconnected from the realities employees face. Strategic direction was inconsistent, and priorities seemed to shift frequently without explanation or rationale. This lack of stable, visionary leadership set the tone for the rest of the executive team and created an environment of uncertainty and frustration. Communication is inconsistent, transparency is lacking, and feedback is rarely welcomed — creating a culture where employees feel undervalued and unheard.
Opportunities for career development are virtually nonexistent. There is no clear path for advancement, no meaningful mentorship, and little investment in employee skill-building or long-term growth. This stagnant environment makes it difficult to stay motivated or envision a future at the company.
